On April 3 of this year, Lutheran Hour Ministries—Chile aired the first segment of Mejor Vivir (“Better Living”), its new radio program broadcast on the El sol de La Florida (“The Sun of La Florida”) community radio station.

Ministry center Director Marianela Bravo, who also hosts the program, says Mejor Vivir is a miscellany that includes music, devotional messages, prayer, and discussions of everyday issues such as health and wellness. From time to time Bravo will welcome experts such as doctors, psychologists and local Lutheran pastors to the program to offer insights on certain topics. Listeners are invited to call in to ask questions and express their opinions.

“Our desire is to reach all kinds of audiences,” says Bravo. “This format will distinguish the program from those of other churches and religious organizations with programs on local stations.”
