In April, A team from Lutheran Hour Ministries—Ghana traveled to the town of Abrafo, about a hundred miles from the ministry center’s location in the capital city of Accra. Rev. Abraham Mensah, a pastor in the region, had invited the center to present an Equipping the Saints workshop—the first in memory in the Abrafo area. A group of 14 adults and youth from three Lutheran churches and other area congregations participated in the workshop.

Isaac Narh, one of the youth participants, was particularly enthused by the training he received. “God has given us the message and the strength,” he encouraged the other young people at the workshop. “All that is left for us to do is be ‘fishers of men!'” Isaac says the presentation enlightened him about evangelism, and he is eager to put his training into practice.

Also while at Abrafo, the Lutheran Hour Ministries team presented a film show to reach out to the community. An estimated 500 people attended!

Please join Lutheran Hour Ministries in praying for the Holy Spirit to bless our ministry center’s efforts in the community of Abrafo and to provide additional opportunities to share the Gospel there.
