Three music events promote LHM programs in Cambodia

In September three different music events were held in Cambodia with about 145 people in attendance. They were held at the Agape School in Tropang Ses village, Siem Reap Province; the Free Gospel Church in Kok Kroeul village, Siem Reap province; and Vision of Inter Supply Alliance in O Sou Sdei village, Kompong Thom province. Together these three musical programs helped to promote Lutheran Hour Ministries-Cambodia programs within these communities. As part of a Gospel outreach these events connected with non-Christian people and encouraged them in matters of faith and future attendance at one of Cambodia’s local churches.

In this Southeast Asian country of nearly 15 million people, LHM-Cambodia is known locally as Cambodia Christian Media Center. Establishing its offices in Phnom Penh in 2000, this ministry makes strong use of LHM’s Bible Correspondence Courses (BCC) to reach people, many of whom live in poor, rural areas. The Equipping the Saints (ETS) program is also an important educational resource, giving Cambodians practical knowledge and solid evangelical tools for communicating the Gospel with friends, family and peers.
