Lutheran Hour Ministries welcomes Mr. Phin Naro as director of the Cambodia ministry center. Naro spent 17 years serving in the church, during which he also held a volunteer position as chairman of the Emergency Relief Development Commission of the Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia, a volunteer organization that helps the flood victims.
In 2004, Naro participated in a program led by a group of missionaries sent by the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod World Mission from Thailand to teach Cambodian pastors and church leaders about Lutheran theology. He continued to study Lutheran theology from that time. Most recently, Naro served alongside Rev. Chhim Vannarith as the vice president of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cambodia.
Naro takes over the responsibilities of Director after the resignation of Tuy An, who has since immigrated to the United States to live with family.
